Tell me a little bit about your career at Cleveland Brothers
“I started back in July of 2007 as a rental coordinator at the Harrisburg branch. In 2012 I was promoted to Inside Sales Representative and shortly after that I was promoted to Territory Manager.”
At a high level, provide a summary of your current responsibilities at Cleveland Brothers, what is your typical work day like?
“I currently work as a Territory Manager working in Adams and York counties so I visit with customers on a daily basis and discuss machine sales needs, rental needs, etc.”
With such a rich history in Pennsylvania, describe what it means to work for Cleveland Brothers.
“Cleveland Brothers is a tremendous company with great employees. Most customers and competitors have a lot of respect for us as a company. It is nice to work for the ‘Best’ brand out there when it comes to construction equipment. Although we are a larger dealer and it can be intimidating to some customers, most see the benefits of working with a dealership of our caliber.”
Describe what it means to work for a Caterpillar dealer. What are the benefits or advantages?
“The number one benefit of working for a Caterpillar dealer is being able to sell the best brand on the market. Cat machines are the most reliable with a lot of features and benefits put in place to help our customers succeed. Caterpillar wants the best for their customers and dealerships, the amount of dealer and customer support we receive is unbeatable.”
Why did you choose to work at Cleveland Brothers over other companies?
“I knew that Cleveland Brothers would be able to offer me a career and not just another job. I have an uncle that works for Cleveland Brothers and seeing him grow and succeed here was confirmation for me that I could create a career here. I had also worked for a couple contractors before joining Cleveland Brothers so I had firsthand experience with Cat machines and knew I would be selling the best product on the market.”
What is special about working at Cleveland Brothers?
“The people make it special, all departments working together and wanting the best for our customers. I also get a lot of support, there are a lot of people that are put in place to assist in making my job easier and more efficient so I can maximize my time with customers. The profit sharing is also nice!”
If you were to describe Cleveland Brothers in three words, what would they be?
“Proud, proud to be a Caterpillar dealer and market leader. Safe, safety is one of our top priorities, Cleveland Brothers is a safe place to work and our machines are built with safety in mind. Quality, not only are we selling a premium quality product but the employees here are also very high quality.”
Describe the work culture at Cleveland Brothers.
Cleveland Brothers prides itself as being a leader in the marketplace, second place is NOT an option in our region. The reason that Cleveland Brothers is so successful is because of their caring employees that understand what the customers concerns and needs are.
What kind of future do you see Cleveland Brothers having?
“Cleveland Brothers has great potential to grow even more than we have already. The joint venture with Beckwith Machinery was a BIG move but is the reason Cleveland Brothers is so successful today. I don’t see us slowing down, we are a market leader!”
